1901fp
Just wondering if anyone knows if the 1901fp is a different "generation" than the 1800fp. It seems that people are having problems with the 1800 in dvi mode with power save etc., and I was wondering if anyone has any comments with this respect to the 1901fp. Thanks for ANY info!

what info i know about the 2, believe that the 1800fp is made by lg electronics, the dell 1901fp by samsung, so you have 2 completely differnect monitors. pixel response speed on the 1901fp is 25, vs 30 for the 1800 fp.

Although the 1900FP is manufactured by Samsung, the 1901FP is made by Liteon Technology.

Back to your question, no the 1901 does not suffer any of the DVI signal issues that the 1800 has historically had. I have had multiple cards, hookups, run in both DVI and VGA, prefer DVI, have had all 3 LCD's mentioned, and the 1901 is a keeper. No dead pixels, response is adequate for most games, and video. It is an LCD though so no comparison to some of the upper end capabilities of the CRT monitors. Anytime someone wants to know who makes the displays, go to Users Guide, Regulatory, there usually are the certs from the agencies, and the manufacturers are shown there. About low bids, would any of you prefer they take the high bids, and make us pay for it LOL?
