1908FP Ultrasharp - Refresh Rate Issues

Hello, I just purchased the 1908Fp Ultrasharp and have some questions regarding the refresh rate. After plugging it in to my PC, I picked 75Hz refresh rate and the monitor switched to it. However after the driver was installed (after the reboot) the display reports that it runs at 72Hz, and there is no more the option "75Hz" in the display window - only 60Hz, 70Hz and 72Hz. I know that the optimal resolution is 60Hz, but my question is: Is choosing a different refresh rate, such as 70Hz, or 72Hz (they are not "Preset" modes) in any way harmful to the display (harmful as in: not a recommended setting to operate the device). 10x in advance for your advice
