2001Fp Monitor Cabling ?

I just received my 2001FP Monitor and a Dimension XPS. The monitor came with two video signal cables and a USB cable. According to the monitor instructions, I should use either the DVI (white) cable or the Video (blue) cable but not both.

Whats the diff between the two Video cables ? Is one better than the other ?

And what's the USB cable for ?

Use the DVI, that will give the best picture. The VGA is if you didn't have DVI or you want to hook up another PC and switch inputs. USB is for the hub, to bring connections to a convenient spot.

Great, exactly what I needed to know. I assume the DVI (Digital ?) produces a better display than the VGA (Analog ?) input.

ANd I guess I should have realized a USB connection was needed considering all of the convenient USB ports found on the Monitor !

Thanks:smileyhappy:
