2007 WFP Monitor Resolution.

Question

When I first got my monitor, I was able to put the resolution up to 1680X1050, and I was quite pleased. However, now I cannot seem to get that resolution anymore.

So can anyone help me?

I've updated all the drivers and such. (I think)

Well, it's version 1.0.0.0, which I don't think is the most recent driver, but for some reason, I cannot seem to figure out how to update the driver.

And I was trying to fix it...but now my maximum resolution is 1600X900...before it was 1600X1024.

did this happen after you updated the drivers? what version are you using?

I was able to fix it by creating a custom resolution in the graphics card menu. Thanks for the help guys

Uninstall and Re-install the video card driver, than go back into Display Properties to reset the native resolution, and see if this works. Or better still, download the more current video driver from the web site, download it to the desktop, than install it after uninstalling the old driver. What video card do you have ?
