Because the 10 year old 2007FP does not have a Windows 10 INF driver for the Windows 10 to recognize, the USB hub in the 2007FP cannot be "seen" correctly by Windows 10. There is not a fix for this. The 10 year old 2007FP was only validated in Windows 2000/XP.
Thanks I kind of thought that was the case. The monitor still works great though. I have a larger and newer Dell and a Samsung on my other computers and this one still looks great. I was hoping to use the USB on the monitor for a small mic but I guess that's out of the question. In all the years I have owned it this is the first time I tried to hook up the USB. Too late.
