Wow, this is really looking like a serious problem:
Your SNES and Atari Jaguar didn't work, my C64 and Amiga didn't work.
The only input I could get working was a DVD-player - but that wasn't really why I bought the 2007FP.
I mainly bought it to be able to hook up my old computers without the necessity of an additional TV or video-monitor.
So is it possible that the 2007FP/WFP have problems with lower-than-TV resolutions on the video-input?
My C64 is for example 320x200, the Amiga is 640x256 usually... But usually resolutions shouldn't make a difference because this is a "video" signal and not a VGA or DVI-signal.
I have now tried connecting:-
- VCR, works but the quality is poor.
- Jaguar connected through the VCR, did not work. Interestingly, when I switch the VCR from playing video to the Jaguar, the monitor don't display the Jaguar image for about half a second before going black.
- US model SNES (NTSC 60Hz), works and gives better quality image than PAL 50Hz devices.
So it seems that it is 50Hz input the monitor has trouble with.
My question now is - Do I send the monitor back for a replacement or a refund?
If the design of the monitor is just incapable of dealing with 50Hz input properly then a replacement won't solve the problem.

I also had most problems with the 50hz PAL modes. With my Amiga, some screenmodes were properly display in NTSC 60hz, but when I switched to PAL 50hz, the 2007FP went black.
I think it's a general problem that these monitors have, but we still need to get an "official" confirmation from ChrisM about that (he promised to report it). In general, there shouldn't be problems to get a refund, since the advertised functionality (Video-In on Composite and S-Video) does not work properly.
