2208WFP Audio not working
We had to replace the hard drive after a crash. Previously, audio used to work on the 2208WFP. After installing the new hard drive there is no audio from the monitor speakers. We are using windows 8 on both hard drives. We are using DVI cable to connect the laptop to the monitor. Any assistance is much appreciated.

The 2208WFP does not have internal speakers. So you must be referring to the clipped on soundbar. The soundbar plugs directly into the computers audio out jack to get sound. So the issue is with the operating system chipset or audio driver, or the audio setup, not the monitor. Repost your issue on the Microsoft OS board. List your specific computer model, audio, etc. Open the Device Manager and if you have any bangs. let them know.
