2405FPW cannot display D-Sub Mode
I just received an Ultrasharp 2405FPW monitor. It is set up with the analog connector. The computer was previously running a monitor on 1024X768 configuration. The OS is Linux Fedora Core 2. I don't remember what the video card is; I think it's around 64megs of memory. It's an older card.
While the computer is booting up, everything is fine. The display is just great. However, once the computer finishes booting I get the message "1:D-SUB Can not display this mode." I cannot access the OSD menu button after the computer boots up. While it is booting, I *can* access it but things run by too quickly for me to change anything. The only menu button that works after the computer boots up is the PIP button. Some of the menu items are greyed-out. The only buttons that aren't are the Exit and the Source. On the "Source" menu, the D-Sub and D-VI are also greyed out.
Somewhere in the user's guide I saw something about re-setting to factory specs. Is there a re-set button somewhere?
You may e-mail me direct if you wish at: captnemotx@netscape.net
Thanks very much.
