2405FPW, stand is stuck?
I have tried the recommendation to push down hard and then press the button but it does not release the monitor. The button does get pushed (it is fine), but then when I pull the monitor it does not move. Is there something else I could do except what I have already done?

What I did is that I took the base and pressed really hard on it (putting my weight on it) and the pressed the button at the base and it allowed the base to extend!

* Lay it down on a soft cloth, panel side down

You can ignore the bot message. For this one, we do not need any numbers. So you are saying that using those instructions and some force you were able to manipulate the stand into the height needed.
