2407 WFP-HC, Screen Flickering

Question

I just purchased a new XPS with a 2407 WFP-HC (which arrived yesterday afternoon). As soon as I powered on the monitor the screen randomly flickers, as well as changing from dim to bright on the light colors. Some times this will not happen for ten minutes, other times its constant flickering for a hour. I've tried changing the DVI-D cable, as well as running it on VGA, and the same thing happens. Any suggestions or troubleshooting ideas? I don't notice any dead pixels and my graphics card drivers are up to date.

Here are some things to try and resolve the issue.

Perform an Auto Adjust via the OSD.
Adjust the Phase and Pixel Clock controls via the OSD.
Perform a monitor reset.
Check for environmental factors.
Adjust the brightness and contrast via the OSD
Relocate and test the monitor in another room.
