AC511 USB Soundbar, internal volume control
Hello! Is there a way to turn down the internal amplifier in the AC511 USB Soundbar? There is a loud white noise emitted by this device, which would be remedied if the internal volume could be lowered. The volume dial on the side of the unit affects only the volume output of Windows, not the actual volume of the soundbar. This issue is present on both units of AC511 I have.
Thanks!

I have never seen a way to turn down the internal amplifier. Other users fixed the white noise issue by disconnected the AC511 USB Soundbar from the monitor USB downstream port. Then, reconnected the AC511 USB Soundbar directly to the PC USB downstream port.

Hi Chris,
Using different USB ports did not address the issue. The problem appears to stem from the internal amplifier being set to 100%, then using software to control how much signal is sent to the amplifier. Can you share the internal schematics of this soundbar? Are you aware of the OEM that made this for Dell? Perhaps I could reach out to them for a solution.
Thanks!

The internal schematics are not available to anyone here at Dell. The training page does not list the OEM builder.

Did you manage to get a problem with volume control? I have the same problem, it seems like the soundbar was set to max volume. It turns out that this model is a dud!
