AC511 USB Soundbar, white buzzing noise

So I made the mistake of buying a AC511 soundbar for my Dell monitor. Unfortunately I wasn't aware that it has a constant buzzing white noise and that setting the Windows audio level at only 2% is already equal to speaking volume.

The old thread about this issue is now in "read only mode" but people theorized if it would be possible to open it up and do some kind of hardware fix or even use a driver to disable the soundbar when not in use. My current hack is to connect headphones to the 3.5mm whenever I'm not using it because it disables the speaker and thereby the static noise.

It's a terrible solution though so I'm just curious if anyone know about a better solution or if I should accept the loss and dispose it.

Test the AC511 USB Soundbar connected directly to the PC USB port;
- If you still hear the buzzing white noise, replace it
- If you do not hear the buzzing white noise, the soundbar is fine. The fault is the monitor USB
