AE515M Soundbar, Mic issue, #3
I wonder if anyone can help.
I have a new AE515M Soundbar which works perfectly with great sound.
When in MS Teams about every 5 to 10 mins a warning sign "Your Microphone isn't working" pops up. The only way I can clear this is to unplug the Soundbar to laptop USB, wait 10 seconds and plug in again and then it works perfectly for another 5 to 10 minutes.
I can't find any reason why. Can anyone help?

* What laptop model?
* What operating system?
* Does this issue happen when using any other software that utilizes a microphone?
* Press Windows + X key
* Click Device Manager
* Open Universal Serial Bus controllers
* Right click each/every USB device
* Click Properties
* If listed, click the Power Management tab
* Remove the check from, "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
* Click OK
* When done with all, close the Device Manager and retest

Chris
You sir are a hero.
Many thanks indeed for the information (which even I could clearly follow) and so far on short calls it seems to work.
Many thanks you are a lifesaver!

Chris
It appears that my excitement was short lived. It has been misbehaving again.
So when on a call every 5 minutes or so I get the "Your microphone is not working"
I unplug the USB cable, wait 10 seconds and plug back in. It then works for 10 minutes or so.
I have a Dell Laptop mon W10 with Dell Monitor and soundbar.

By a process of elimination I have found that the USB from the soundbar plugged into my laptop has some events on it. Would this help?
