AW2518HF, white screen

Question

This morning i picked up my new monitor from a best buy store. Set up was easy and seamless, my pc could only handle 120hz, got to play about 30 minutes game play before leaving and turning the monitor off. Upon returning 2-3 hours later i powered up my monitor and started quake live, the screen turned black, and then now it is permanently white. I waited a long time until i realized it wasn't normal, the menu buttons on the monitor were not showing up. I am writing from the same computer with all the cords from my new monitor plugged into my old monitor, plz help.:TongueTied:

The AW2518HF was only designed to function correctly with AMD video cards and AMD FreeSync to attain 240Hz.

* What PC model?
* What AMD video card?
* What video out ports are on the AMD video card?
* Turn the PC and all monitors off
* Disconnect every monitor cable from the PC
* Disconnect every cable (yes power) from the AW2518HF
* Press and hold in the AW2518HF power button for 8 seconds
* Reconnect the power cable to the AW2518HF
* Reconnect only the AW2518HF to the AMD video card
* Turn the PC on, then the AW2518HF. What appears on screen?
