AW3418DW, sleep issue

Hi,

Just recently picked this AW3418DW up and experiencing an issue with sleep. The AW3418DW itself will go to sleep, but after an hour or so, the backlights will turn on with no image displayed. Almost like if no source is connected while the AW3418DW is on. This AW3418DW is hooked up to a GTX 1080 Ti via DP with another monitor plugged in via HDMI and it remains asleep. I’m using the latest Nvidia drivers. Both monitors will wake up upon mouse movement. What’s the reason for this?

For my notes, click my username and via private message send me the monitor service tag number.

Unknown as to the cause. That is why we troubleshoot. For testing, turn all three off, PC/AW3418DW/other monitor. Disconnect the other monitor from the GTX 1080 Ti leaving only the AW3418DW connected to the GTX 1080 Ti DP. Turn the PC and AW3418DW on. Let the PC and AW3418DW go into sleep modes, wait an hour or so. What happens?
