Hi Amanda

You are not given enough information to help you, like the video card or monitor. Since your computer is old. I can guess it might be the video card and Your warranty has expired. I think you should call a computer shop and ask to get your computer repair and find out the problem.

My computer is not that old only 4 years old thats not old.

I have a Dell Dimension 4300.
Dell M781s Color Monitor.
I was just sitting here and my screen went blury.

Id rather not have to call any computer shop just yet. I thought someone on here would have some brains seeing as they have all the other times I have asked a question.

Believe it or not, yes that system is getting older, and the monitors just don't last that long now days, unless you are one of the lucky ones.  If you can attatch another monitor to your system, this would be the best way to determine if its the monitor or not.  Or, you can un-install the video card driver, use a driver cleaner and re-install that video card driver or another one to see if this helps.  Make sure you adjust the resolution and cleartype again after you re-install the video card driver.  Unattatch and re-attatch the cables as well, to make sure its not loose.  Cables also get older and if you can, change them out with another.
