Cannot Install 2001FP Monitor Driver

Running XP SP2, v.2149 in Clean Boot mode on Dimension 8200 w/ 1 GB RAM with dual 2001FP monitors.  After each of four attempts to update monitor driver from Plug and Play to Dell 2001FP v.A02, Hardware Update Wizard returns "Cannot Install this Hardware  There was a problem installing this hardware.  Plug and Play Monitor  An error occured during the installation of the device  Access is denied"  What must I do to overcome this problem?  TIA

Okay, how do I get past the link.I'm getting lots of "Welcome to Dell Support".  It seems ther is limited documentation in the packaging(2001fp).  Where can I download specs, maitenance requirements, etc.

Thanks Jesse,

However... Still all that "Welcome to Dell".  I'm not sure if there is a secret to get to the content of these links, I keep selecting  the Home and Home Office survey link as a "Choose your need".  Is there another 2001fp owner login?  Security settings?  Why is the CD devoid of the Manual?  Okay, I really like the product whoever made it, but am I going to need driver changes when the 9600AIW hits $150?  Let me know, and thanks for the nice hardware.

raptorseek,

Choose the home and office then the support area at the top of the page. Once there you can click on knowledge base under service and support. From there click reference then user guides. You will then see a long list that you can choose displays. Once there click the monitor that you need the information on and it will bring up the user manual.

Hi Jesse,

I must  have issues with your cookies or such.  I can hit from work, however, I don't really have the time to print or copy and save the 'manual' on the clock.  Any chance you have a .pdf to pass along on the 2001fp, Let me know, Thanks.

raptor seek,

The manual is not downloadable. It is not in a .pdf format so I cannot send it to you.
