Color management - Calibrating a Dell 1703FPt LCD monitor
I have a Dell 1703FPt Ultra Sharp, flat panel, LCD monitor that came with my Dimension 4600 computer. (I also have an nVidia GEForce FX 5200 graphics card.) I would like to calibrate the monitor for printing. My printer is an HP Photosmart 7150. From what I read in other forums, an LCD monitor cannot be calibrated with Adobe Gamma - only a CRT monitor can be calibrated with Adobe Gamma.
1) How do I calibrate my monitor for printing?
2) Is there a profile available for this monitor? I couldn't find it on the Dell web pages and it is not on the cd that came with the monitor.
