Compatible Monitor
I recently purchased the Dell 16 inch XPS laptop...with 4 megs of RAM and 1 Gig video card.
I am interested in purchasing the Ultra Sharp 2408 WFP.....24 inch wide screen monitor.
Presently I am using a small monitor and would like a larger unit for Photoshop work. Does this combination make sense and is the card going to have the
punch to make this monitor work at its top potential.

Dell has introduced a new 24" monitor U2410. I do not own a 2408, but a 2407. My monitor had to be replaced twice, because it had a on- off switch problem. The round switch would move, and you would have to turn the monitor off with a pencil eraser. The square switch in the U2410 will not move. The new monitor is also green.
