Configuring Dual Monitors
I've been running a single Dell 2005FPW monitor with a GeForce6800 video card, DVI connect, that supports adding a second monitor, and a Dimension 8400 running WIN XP. Today I added a ViewSonic Q20wb with a VGA connect, as the secondary monitor, but am having difficulty configuring it the way I want to. I want to configure the primary Dell monitor to run in a vertical configuration while the ViewSonic maintains a horizontal position, while maintaining a horizontal span between monitors and not a clone set-up. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

So the windows desktop is extended onto both monitors with the 2005FPW as the primary on DVI.
* Press the Menu button on the 2005FPW
* Open OSD Settings
* Open OSD Rotation and adjust it by 90 degrees
* Rotate the 2005FPW into Portrait Mode
