DDM for macOS, The Underground Way
Due to lack of support by DELL and its DDM software (Dell Display Manager) on macOS, we solved it with the giant help of a group of talented programmers and curious foxes around the world.
My Setup Studio: Macbook Pro 15´+ Mac Desktop (Hackintosh) both connected to a pair of DELL P2417H monitor. The first programing approach was made by Joey Korkames for controlling brightness and other functions from macOS terminal. And the continuation of implementing those lines to control the input switching, by Patrick Rynhart @prynhart from New Zealand. With him, solving that tricky part, made an Automation Script for each machine, invoking the proper Terminal code lines and fired it with a custom key with the app Keyboard Maestro.

Hi,
did you manage to also solve snapping to layout as DDM does? Aka you have evenly split into dual areas and drag&drop magnetically resizes the window to either side. It seems to me this is the greatest feature lacking from OSX currently.

Gustovo - this sounds amazing, but I'm not good with terminal and really need some assistance on how to use the tool. I did try myself but I had no idea what i'm doing as i'm not a coder/terminal guy.
Currently, I'm on a Mac Mini 2018 using a Dell 30" 07 WFPHC with a Dual-Link DVI to usbc adapter
My monitor settings are so unusable even with Apple's advance calibration tools I can't get anything that doesn't make my whites look yellow. ie. no white at all.
I'm hoping to fix the issue with the tool you guys have written.
I've tried using an app called Lunar but it's not responding to my Dell 30" DVI 2560x1600
Can you provide some assistance on how to use your tool?
