DDM, not loading on startup?

Upon the recent DDM update, I cannot seem to get it to load automatically upon startup. I am running Windows 8.1. I must manually start it every time I boot -- which is a pain. I have enable it under the startup items via Task Manager (oddly there are two DDMs which show up in there, both are enabled).

Any advise / help?
Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you installed Dell Display Manager with "Run as administrator" privileges. DDM cannot autoload with this option for security reason, i.e., it cannot start without explicit permission from an administrator - Windows will not allow it.

Right-click on the DDM program or shortcut, and select Properties, then go to the Compatibility tab, UNcheck "Run this program as an administrator", and then click "Change settings for all users".

Or just reinstall with the "Run as administrator" option unchecked. DDM itself does not require elevated privileges.

That was the problem. Thank you!
