DDM, right click context menu not working
Hello,
I have the Dell S2718HX Monitor and I am using Dell Display Manager Version 1.40.0.1928.
And I have 2 problems!
The first issue is when I right click on my desktop to bring up the context menu and I click DDM it does not open and instead I get an error message basically saying Explorer exe the file does not have an app associated with it.
And the second issue is how can I remove DDM from the right click context menu as I really do not want it there anyway even if it was working?
I am running DDM on Windows 10 Build 1809 17763.55

Sounds like DDM was improperly uninstalled. Download and install the latest version from here. When you are installing it, UNcheck the option "Add to Desktop Context Menu".

So I installed the latest version from your link.
And when I un check "Add to Desktop Context Menu" I still get "DDM" in the context menu.
However if I leave "Add to Desktop Context Menu" checked then I get "Dell Display Manager" in the context menu.
There seems too be no way to install Dell Display Manager without it showing either "DDM or "Dell Display Manager" in the context menu.

Re: "Dell Display Manager", you can remove this manually by using RegEdit.exe and deleting this key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DesktopBackground\DDM
I don't what "DDM" refers to in your context menu, but you should be able to find it under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DesktopBackground and delete it.
