DELL 2007WFPb Turns on and off randomly
Hello,
My monitor turns on and off randomly as it the power supply is interrupted. However the computer as such works fine and I'm still able to continue what I'm doing. I know it is a power issues as the speaker turns off as well ( the speakers get power from the monitor). The power cord is attached securely and I have tried different cords. What should I do?

* Switch the monitor off
* Disconnect all monitor cabling from the PC (VGA, DVI, HDMI, DP, USB, etc.)
* Disconnect the monitor power cord from the rear of the monitor
* Press and hold the monitor power button in for 5 seconds
* Reconnect the monitor power cord to the rear of the monitor
* Switch the monitor on
* The floating red/green/blue/white dialog box should appear on screen against a black background. If the monitor powers OFF in this setup, the monitor is defective. If under warranty, Dell Order Support would replace it. Read this

Thanks Chris. Yes the monitor powered off. I bought this 5 years agao.
I don't think it will be under warranty.
