If your video card only has analog ( The Blue connector cable ), than attatch that to the video card and to the blue connector on the monitor. If you have a white connector on the video card as well as a blue one, connect the white connector to the video card and to the monitors white connector, which will give you digital, and a better picture.
The USB connector cable is attatched from the underside of the monitor to a usb port on your computer. If you have a newer system with USB 2.0 and not the 1.1 older standard, than you won't see a pop up from time to time telling you that you will be better off with the new 2.0 standard. Don't forget to turn of Clear Type in Display Properties that will give you better looking fonts.
