Dell 2005FPW Flickering Issue
I have a Dell 2005FPW monitor and am using Windows 7. The screen keeps flickering when I first turn it on. Not an on/off type of flicker, but it seems like the screen view is scrolling really fast. Not sure if that info helps or not. I have tried both VGA and DVI input. I have also connected my XBox to this monitor and it happens with that as well. It goes away after a few minutes. Usually I can turn the monitor off and back on a few times to fix the issue. It will slow down the flickering at first and then eventually stop completely.
Does this sound like something that can be fixed? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
John

We do not repair monitors, all we do is replace them while under warranty. So I do not have any reapir information. Does it flicker when you run the monitor STFC (Self-Test Feature Check)?
* Turn the monitor off
* Disconnect all monitor cords from the computer
* Disconnect the monitor power cord from the rear of the monitor
* Press and hold the monitor power button in for 5 seconds
* Reconnect the monitor power cord to the rear of the monitor
* Turn the monitor on
* The floating red/green/blue/white dialog box should appear on screen against a black background and the monitor should not shut off
