Dell S2409W

I just bought the Dell S2409W, I connected it to my pc and it worked fine. I then connected my Playstation 3 using the HDMI connector and it recognized it and worked fine the first day. The next day I turned on the monitor and then turned on the PS3 and the monitor went blank and stays blank. I get no error message or anything indicating there is a problem. I tried using the DV-I to HDMI, but I get the same problem. The monitor works great with the pc, but now I can't use the HDMI or DV-I. I reconnect my ps3 to the tv and it works. So, I know that the problem isn't the PS3. Can anyone please help.

Thanks

Don't worry everything is fine. I had the same issue with my S2409w monitor. All you would have to do is turn the monitor off, unplug the power cord from behind the monitor (not the outlet), wait a 30 seconds and then plug it back in. It should work fine now. This resets the monitors configuration back to normal.

I cant hear sound with the HDMI output & HDMI-to-HDMI cable.

I've set the HDMI as audio line output inthe LCD menu but still helpless.

For some reason with this monitor there is a 5 second delay before the sound goes through with the HDMI option. Be careful not to plug in the audio plug in the incorrect output. There are two outputs, one for the HDMI sound output and the other for something else I can't recall but if you plug it in the incorrect one then you wont get sound. I had this same issue as well.

Got it done already. Actually I have to disable my sound card in order to get the HDMI sound to work.

Thank you.

Actually, there are 2, 3.5mm headphone jacks at the back of the monitor. One is an input for audio from ur pc and the other is an output to ur speakers. When u switch from HDMI TO VGA or HDMI to DVI, it switches audio sources for you form the hdmi device to ur pc and vice versa.
