I un-plugged my second monitor (Dell P22) and the issue is gone. Is there a workaround for this issue? I could tolerate one monitor, but I have 2 because it is way more convenient for work that I also do on this computer.
This did not fix it. I backed it to 60 Hz, shut my computer off, and tried and it still had the issue. Whenever I restart my computer it is fixed. So I don't know if it is an issue with software not starting up, and needs a restart everytime to properly boot?
Would having a second monitor in the system affect this?
My previous setup with the existing graphics card was actually a Dell P2414H and a P2311H. Never had these stuttering problems with that. I bought the S27, and now use the S27 and P2414H. I hooked up my old P2311H (removing the S27) to see if it was a recent issue with drivers or something, but there was no issue. So would it be an issue with different resolutions?
There seems to be many users reporting lag/stuttering playing games in Windows 10.
It would be more of a refresh rate of the monitor causing the issue with stuttering. Below is information that I found that has helped others.
Adjust Desktop Size and Position foir both monitors -> and setting "Perform scaling on" to GPU instead of display.Perform Scaling On: put GPU on both monitors..
Disabling Shadow Play
Uninstall and reinstall video card drivers.
A clean install of Windows and drivers
Also, at the link below is a YouTube video that you can watch and try the steps mentioned.
