Dell UltraSharp U2414H Displayports not Working?

Hi!

I tried to connect my EVGA GTX 980 to my monitor via Displayport, but it doesn't seem like the DP's on the monitor are detecting my card's signal. I used different cables, changed the DP Enable/Disable setting, etc, and yet nothing. And before anyone says, yes, the cable is in the DP in port.

I RMA'd my GTX 980 because perhaps it is a fault card since DVI works fine, but now I suspect it's the monitor.

I tried the Displayports on both my GPU and the motherboard, yet no signal.

Any suggestions?

* Turn the computer and monitor off
* Disconnect all cables from the monitor including the power cable
* Press and hold in the monitor power button for 8 seconds
* Connect in this way =
Computer EVGA GTX 980 DP out --> Dell DP to mDP cable --> U2414H mDP in
* Turn the monitor on, then the computer
* Press the monitor Menu button (3rd from the left) to bring up the OSD (On Screen Display)
* Go to Input Source
* Select Mini DisplayPort
* Exit the Menu
Does anything appear? Does the EVGA GTX 980 have multiple DP out ports to test?
