With typos corrected (my bad):

The issue with my UP2516D calibration was fixed when I loaded version 1.5.3.15479 of Dell's Calibration Solution software. Shortly afterwards, an update became available, but I was advised not to install it because of reported connection issues. Now version 1.5.10 is available. Should I update now, or stay with what has been working?

Thanks

Your call. If 1.5.10 does not calibrate successfully, you could always remove it and reinstall the older version. I would allow the software itself to auto update. Reboot when done and test it.

Chris,

FYI. I tried the upgrade to 1.5.10 both from the 1.5.3 prompt and from a clean download. Both failed in the XRite part of the installation with failure to install xrdd.exe and a query about access rights (I am the admin and ran both efforts with and without run as admin). Then when I try to run the software, it fails because XRiteDevice.dll is missing". So I am back to 1.5.3. StudioXPS 9100 running Win7.
