Hi arslans.

Welcome to the Community.

I regret to hear that you had such an experience with this product. However, please try below mentioned steps which shall fix the issue.

1) Change the color-setting mode in the Color Settings OSD to Graphics or Video, depending on the application.

2) Try a different color preset setting in the Color Settings OSD.

3) Adjust the R, G, B value in the Color Settings OSD, if Color Management is turned off.

4) Adjust the R, G, B value in the Color Settings OSD, if Color Management is turned off.

5) Run the built-in diagnostic tool.

The following are the steps for running the built-in diagnostics tool:

1. Ensure that the screen is clean—the screen surface should be free from dust particles.

2. Unplug the video cable(s) from the rear side of the computer or monitor. The monitor, then, goes into the self-test mode.

3. Press and hold the 1st and 4th buttons on the front panel, simultaneously, for 2 seconds. A gray screen appears.

4. Carefully check the screen for abnormalities.

5. Press the 4th button on the front panel, again. The color of the screen changes to red.

6. Check the display for any abnormalities.

7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for the green, blue, and white colors on the screen.

The test is complete when the white screen appears. You can close the built-in diagnostic tool by pressing the 4th button, again. If you do not detect any screen abnormalities by using the built-in diagnostic tool, check the video card and the computer. i have a similar issue, getting exactly the same off - color reported by the original poster.

i own 2 dell u2410m rev a00 since about 2 years. i use them in my home office with a macpro octo and ati radeon hd 5880. and i am very satisfied with these two. in our office, we have 20 more of these monitors, but we are running windows there.

now, i decided to buy a third monitor for use in my home office. i got one of rev a05 (we have too 20 pieces of rev a05 in our office). but surprisingly, the moitors colors are very disappointing on my mac: there is definitely a very intense green-tint, and it is nearly not possible to kompensate by monitor calibration. i thought it might have been a single failure with this monitor, so i decided to exchange it to one rev a05 from our office: with the same result. the monitor sadly is unusable with my mac.

at the end i decided to exchange my newly bought rev a05 to an old rev a00 from our office, and everything works like a charm.

in our office, running windows, there is no tellable difference between the rev a00 and the rev a05 monitors! but, it does not seem to depend on software, because i am getting the same problem while booting to bootcamp windows on my mac.

strange behaviour isnt it?
