Difference between E173FP & 1704FPT Ultrasharp?

What is the underlying difference between the two monitors except for the fact that one has a faster response time, digital connection and a higher viewing angle? Is the E173FP descent for viewing videos (not movies) and image editing?

The non-eseries Flat Panels from Dell have better specs, along with:
 
  • USB Hub inside the Flat Panel
  • HAS Stand (height adjustable, as well as rotate and tilt capability...E173 can only tilt)
  • DVI Inputs (E173 is analog only)

Personally I much prefer the Perfomance (ie those that dont start with E) LCD Panels, but maybe that's becuase I own a 2005FPW.
