Dual monitors and fullscreen scrolling
Hello,
I just hooked up a new Dimension 9100 with two monitors on "dual display" setting. However I've run into a small problem with some programs that are designed 'scroll' when the cursor is moved to the edge of the screen, such as a video game where moving the mouse to the left edge of the screen causes the view to shift left.
Naturally when I run these programs, if I move my mouse to the edge of the screen closest to the other monitor, the cursor simply skips over and I can't shift the view as I could before.
Not a huge problem because I suppose I could just shift to single display mode for these programs, but it does seem a shame to have to abandon my second screen at times. Any advice?

I have a Dell 1704FPT and a Samsung Syncmaster 173B. Both are 17" LCD monitors set to a resolution 1280x1024. I should point out that when I launch the application in question (its a few years old), it changes the resolution on both screens to 800x600. When I close the program, both screens revert to 1280x1024 resolution.
Looking at the program instructions, I found that the feature I am missing is called "mouse pushing" where the mouse "pushes" against the monitor edge to change the view. If I could easily restrict the mouse to one screen things would be fine. Using display settings to change my setup to single-monitor is inconvenient and wreaks havoc on the icons and windows on the second screen!
Thanks for your help.
