E176FP Monitor Problem

I have hooked up this monitor to my hd tv using a VGA Y-splitter the monitor itself has dimmed and there seems to be a sort of ghosting going on with both of my monitors but especially with my main. here is a sample of what I am experiencing:

Notice the blur or ghosting around the edges of fonts and graphics, any way to fix this?
