Help needed to set up 2 Dell monitors and my Smart TV to Dell PC
Could anyone help me with which connectors I need to set up multiple monitors on my Dell system? ( I plan to use either the Dell store or Amazon.)
Here's what I'd like to do:
-
Connect my two Dell monitors so I can work on more Photoshop tasks...
-
Also connect my PC to my Smart TV so I can view video and have sound from the web through my PC.
-
I've listed my model numbers below, and am comfortable with techie speak and doing the connections once I've got my plan
Any ideas on next steps for me? Clueless on which parts to order.
Dell XPS 8700 GeForce GTX 745 video card
Dell Monitor SE2416H (Primary)
Dell Monitor E207WFP
VIZIO smart TV M322i-B1 (2 HDMI ports)

GeForce GTX 745 out ports = VGA/HDMI/DVI-D
SE2416H in ports = VGA/HDMI
E207WFP in ports = VGA/DVI-D
M322i-B1 in ports = HDMI/HDMI
You should connect all the monitors to the GeForce GTX 745 =
GeForce GTX 745 VGA out --> VGA to VGA cable --> SE2416H VGA in (Primary monitor)
GeForce GTX 745 DVI-D out --> DVI to DVI cable --> E207WFP DVI in (Secondary monitor)
GeForce GTX 745 HDMI out --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> M322i-B1 HDMI in (Tertiary monitor)
You will use the Nvidia Control Panel to enable the Secondary and Tertiary as extended monitors.
