How else can I speed up my cursor?

I have a new 20" LCD (2001fp) and I need the cursor to move farther faster.

I'm disabled and have a hard time moving my mouse very far. I already have the Mouse Properties set all the way to the max (Fast) for the cursor, but I need a little more.

Any ideas?

hmm... I wonder if it verys from mouse to mouse?

Hi lesheets24,

Other than going thru Control Panel>Mouse, I can't think of anything else that you can do in WinXP to speed it up. I don't know what kind of mouse you have but I use Logitech's optical wireless mice. I find that they are faster and much more responsive than the standard wired ball mice. For your needs, you may want the Trackball mouse...you don't have to physically move the mouse at all, just the big ball on the mouse. Here's a link to the Logitech mice http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/productlist/US/EN,CRID=19 and the Trackballs http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/productlist/US/EN,CRID=22

Regards,

Tom
