M782p Monitor Shape Problems

Heres the problem, i recently switched from 100hz to 85hz on the monitor and the shape went all weird, meaning its now square no more. I tried to restore to factory settings, but it doesnt work. I also tried to install monitor drivers but it couldnt install for some odd reason. I was wonderin if somebody could tell me their shape settings for their monitor so i can replicate that and get my square back :). Example the "adjust curve" --> "balance" is set at 43.

THANKS,

Charlie

Hi Charlie,

I have the same monitor, these are my settings.>> Adjust Shape> Side Curve. Pincushion =60

                                                                                                                                Ballance=45

                                                                                                            Side Angles. Trap=44

                                                                                                                                  Para=52

Also Look at the User Guide (Section Useing Controls And Indicators) >

<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed / replaced from this post by Dell>

Note! I'm using a refresh rate of 75hz.

Hope this helps..

i think you just have to work with the settings to get things set the best that you can.. i am considering purchasing an m782 monitor.. do they make a whining noise like some flat screen monitors do? any other complaints?

The latest one is great,

Dead flat screen, display right to the edge of cabinet, exellent picture quality, And Quite as a mouse ( Rodent kind )

There were some intermittent shutting down problems on earlier models, but this seems to have been resolved.
