Monitor Stuck in Power Save Mode

Question

My monitor is staying in power save mode and I have been troubleshooting all possible things. All the computer downloads were in process when it went into power save mode so I haven't been able to see what's going on. I've tried new monitor (one i had), new HDMI cables etc but no use... can you help?
