Monitor USB Reset

Question

* Power off the PC* Power off the monitor* Disconnect all cables from the monitor (power, USB, VGA, DVI, DP, HDMI, etc.)* Disconnect all monitor cables from the PC (USB, VGA, DVI, DP, HDMI, etc.)* While disconnected, press and hold the monitor power button down for 8 seconds* Reconnect the power cord to the monitor* Reconnect the monitor video cable to the PC video card and to the monitor* Power on the monitor if it does not power on by itself* Power on the PC* Once into windows, open the Device Manager (Press the Windows key and the Pause-Break key)* Click the Hardware tab* Click the Device Manager button* Click the plus by Universal Serial Bus Controllers (notate what is listed)* Connect the USB Upstream cable from the bottom of the monitor to a USB port on the rear of the PC* Under Universal Serial Bus Controllers, you should see additional Generic USB Hubs* This means the monitors USB Hubs were seen by the operating system
