Nope. If purchased bundled with a PC, the monitor uses the PC warranty. Otherwise, we would look up the monitor order number to check the warranty status.
I work for Google and Google has bought a large number of Dell monitors over the years. They were not a part of a desktop system and have no "Service Tag" associated with them.
If we can't find a way to claim warranty service on Dell monitors perhaps we should not buy any more of them.

Dell needs to reconsider this policy.
