Monitor eye strain and headache

Question

I have been suffering eye strain and nausea for some time now. I have gone through several monitors in a short space of time and am at my wits end. Now my research has suggested that I should be looking for a non-flickering LED backlight monitor with an S-PVA, P-MVA, or IPS panel. I'm after 24' or slightly larger. I understand Dell claim their LEDs don't flicker (nice!) so here I am, looking for the monitor to get me back to work!! Any ideas anyone?

My advice is to find a local store and physically test the monitors before purchasing one.

Unfortunately, I need a number of hours, even a day or 2 to really know the full effect of a monitor.
