Thanks, but it won't be necessary now. We were able to contact our company rep and resolve this. It was still a hassle because of lack of service tag though. I hope in the future Dell will consider putting a service tag on all of their products or change the contact procedure. I could not send an email, initiate chat or even call in for support without the tag number. It is frustrating. Thank you for responding through the forum though. You were the most helpful so far.

I believe so. It was purchased by the previous IT person and I can't find the receipts though.

What is the 20 digit serial number? From that I can at least know when the 3 year warranty period started.
