P1913 black after outage

Hi everyone. I'm new here, so hopefully I've provided enough usable information.
Model: P1913t
SN: CN-0PVGRC-74445-29H-816M
Rev: A00

Issue =
Following a power outage, the monitor does not display anything despite the blue light indicating the monitor is "on."

Symptoms =
-when plugged in, blue "on" indicator immediately turns on.
-will not go to "off" by pushing on button, blue indicator stays on regardless
-all buttons on monitor are unresponsive to pressing -- can't get anything to pop up on screen (from either computer or internally in monitor)
-computer and connection are both fine -- used the same cable to hook up another monitor and it works.

Does anyone know a what's wrong and/or what the solution to this is?
