P2414H, stuck in wake up loop
I use this monitor with two different computers, one is connected to the monitor via usb c dock and VGA, the other directly with a display port cable.
When I switch from one computer to the other (shutting down one and turning the other on) the screen will enter this infinite loop where, I guess, it tries to connect to the display port, takes too long and goes to sleep, then it notices that there is something connected and tries to connect again, but can't.
Here is a video with the behavior: https://youtu.be/O7zhu95gzsI
Turning the monitor off and on again doesn't help.
The only way I managed to make it work easily is by disconnecting.
This happens with other combinations of computers as well.

What is the 20 digit serial number? That will tell us when it was built.
Page 33 in the online P2414H User's Guide. Remove the check from Auto Select and retest.

The serial number is: CN-036WJX-74261-532-3YCB
It appears to have been made in 2015.
Deselecting the auto select does solve the infinite loop. It's still a hassle, but less than removing the cable (and safer as well).
To me this means that the auto select functionality doesn't work then.
I don't expect too much from a monitor from 2015, but since the function was there I hoped it would work fine.
Well, thanks for the quick response

Correct, built on March 2, 2015, 7 years, 65 days days. Based on that, the warranty expired on March 2, 2018.
