P2414H vertical dead line

I have 2 p2414h and BOTH have the same problem which is a single dead vertical line on the display.

Problem exists regardless of input, it appears more obvious when under white background.

Both had been factory reset; issue remained.

Please give me some help here; i do not have the receipt and because small monitors do not have service tag ;the only thing i have is the S/N code from the back of the monitor.

Purchased NEW from Dell or used from a reseller? Run the P2414H Built-in Diagnostics, page 48-49 in the User's Guide. Post pictures of the Built-in Diagnostics showing the v-line.

I got it used; but only happened recently, been fine for quite a long time.

It seems to me that it's missing red on the line; and the other monitor i got has a very similar problem, just at a different place

Not buying them directly from Dell Canada has complicated the process for you.
* Go back to the top of this Monitor Forum
* Open, "My 24" or smaller monitor does not have a Service Tag?"
