P2417H, lines
Hello,
I do have a problem with my P2417H. There are some horizontal stripes which are annoying and decrease comfort of using my desktop. What I have tried so far:
**factory setting in P2417H menu
**change display port cable
**use different graphic cards
**use different monitor as well (everything on it runs fine, so GPUs are fine)
**install those dell drivers(and also uninstall them)
**complete reinstall of operating system
**updated my graphic card drivers(also used some older ones)
I am 100% certain that fault is on P2417H side. I have also uploaded some video on YouTube to demonstrate my problem.
Thank you and have a nice day :).

* For my notes, click my DELL-name and private message me the P2417H service tag number and 20 digit alphanumeric serial number so I can check its warranty and age
* From whom and when did you purchase this P2417H?
* Is the P2417H running at 1920x1080 60Hz in both the Windows Display Settings and the video card control panel?
* Run the P2417H disconnected from video card Built-in Diagnostics, page 55. Do you see the issue?

Bought it in the Czech republic before Christmas 2016 in one retail shop.
Yes, it runs both in 1080p with 60hz.
It does the same thing when I plug in my laptop via HDMI.

You replied that the issue was NOT seen when running the P2417H Built-in Diagnostics. This means the fault is not with the P2417H. The fault is either the cable or the Inspiron G3 15-3579.

I have tried original cable as well as NEW bought cable. Same problem.
I have tried my GPU and then my friends GPU. Same problem.
I have tried to connect my laptop with TV. No problem.
=> tried it on 2 different devices
So I guess the problem is in monitor.

Why all replacements are refurbished/used?
My monitor is without any scratch and I like that. Sadly, the panel is not good.

Because that has always been the Dell policy.
