P2418D, GTX 670m, 2560x1440 resolution

Hello everyone.

I have bought two P2418D for using with my Asus Rog G75VW laptop. This laptop has GeForce GTX 670m graphical card. Additional I bought HDMI Philips cable which support 4K 60Hz video. Right now I have following trouble: monitors don't work with 2560x1440 resolution through HDMI (only 2048x1080), but through DisplayPort work with this resolution. I need two monitors connected at the same time with 2560x1440 resolution. I tried to install drivers, update OS (i'm using Fedora, but I installed Windows too for figuring out why monitors didn't work with 2560x1440 resolution via hdmi), changed cable, connect this monitors to another laptops and PCs, but they don't work appropriately. Maybe there is some restriction of HDMI?

The HDMI port on P2418D is the older revision 1.4. So its capability to run 2560x1440 60Hz is based solely on the source HDMI out port. If both P2418D connected by themselves to the laptop HDMI out port only give you 2048x1080, then the laptop GPU could be limiting the resolution. On a desktop computer with an added discrete video card with HDMI out port, test both P2418D HDMI in ports.
