P2418HT, touchscreen creates transparent box for pointer
Hello,
At a couple of our pro shops, we are using the P2418HT touchscreens attached to Dell Wyse 3040 boxes talking to terminal servers running Windows 2012 R2. At both locations, there are times when the employees touch anywhere on the screen, it creates a transparent box that the mouse pointer will jump into. At that point, anytime the employee touches another part of the screen, or move the mouse, the pointer will end up in that box.
This also causes that box to not register a touch/click. It's particularly annoying when the box is in a location that's not on the side of the screen. If anyone has experienced this or has any answers, it sure would be mighty helpful.
Thanks!

Thank you! We have received the required details. We will work the issue. You may also receive assistance or suggestions from the community members.
Do you have the same issue when testing the P2418HT on a PC with the supported operating systems (Windows 7/8/10)?

I also wanted to include a screenshot of what's going on. As you can see in the near the middle of the screen, there's a transparent box. The pointer will some times jump back to this box with the mouse is moved...

Hi! So I realized that then you hold your finger down on the touchscreen, it produces a transparent circle, then a box, then it gives you options as if you were right-clicking the mouse button. I tested a touchscreen on a Dell PC I have, running Windows 10. Works fine.
The problem is that we use Wyse 3040 devices, that connects to a terminal server farm running Server 2012 R2 on the servers. Also, when I RDP into one of those servers, and use the touchscreen, it works as design.
Does Dell happen to know how to turn that touch and hold feature off?
