P2419H, disable the On/Off power button?
Is it possible to disable the On/Off power button on a Dell P2419H monitor?
I do not see this power option in the menu settings on the monitor.
The reason I'm asking is that I don't want our operators to be able to turn off the monitors, after which Microsoft Windows 7 begins to reassign the screens, which would cause our standard graphic displays to relocate themselves, or just disappear altogether.
Thank you for any constructive reply you may leave.
Sincerely,
BPP

* For my notes, click my DELL-name and private message me the P2419H service tag number
I cannot think of ANY Dell monitor that has ever allowed this option? As you stated, the P2419H OSD Menu does not have that option. Nor do I see any discussion of doing this in the online P2419H User's Guide.

This would be a good feature to incorporate. The reason is that it would prevent the operator from messing up the Windows quad screen settings by inadvertently turning off a monitor.
This scenario has been occuring at our site requiring the operator having to log off and back on to fix the configuration back to normal.
HP monitor E222 allows this to be done.
