P2715Q, not recognized through DP, #2

Question

This is extremely frustrating, I have gone and replaced my PSU and GFX card thinking they were at fault. Because I didn't have other devices that I could reliably use as test. I've put up with this problem on my P2715Q for years now. This is very frustrating to learn that its because the DP connectivity on these P2715Q is terribly implemented. Never seen it this problem on any other monitors with DP so this should be considered bad enough for a replacement.
